Original - Black Forest Wolves

Replica - Black Forest Wolves
Stage 1
Stage 2
Stage 3
Stage 4
Stage 5
Final Stage
Replica Drawing
Medium: Photoshop using a tablet; Current feeling about recreation: Not perfect, mine looks more like a Black Forest Rat than a wolf, and the pine needles look like hay, overall I feel satisfied.

Original - Boozle

Replica - Boozle

Medium: Photoshop using a tablet; Current feeling about recreation: I feel I spent a lot of time creating something I can't take credit for, I have no personal attachment to my efforts on this one.

Original - Flapjack

Replica - Flapjack
Medium: Photoshop using a tablet; Current feeling about recreation: This has been the simplest recreation I've done, yet it is also the the most inaccurate, the eyes need to slant more, mouth needs to be higher, etc.  I may fix it later, but I think it's kinda cute like this.

Original - Stormalong Harbor

Replica - Stormalong Harbor
Day 8
Medium: Photoshop using a tablet; Current feeling about recreation: I'm satisfied with the object placement, but could've done better on detailing and color.  My eyes keep fuzzing up today.

 Original - Star Gazers...

Replica - Star Gazers...
Stage 1
Stage 2
Final Stage
Day 9
Medium: Photoshop using a tablet; Current feeling about recreation: The hair needs more shading, and the background could use some work, but overall I feel pretty satisfied.

Original Piece - Light Bug
Day 10 (revised)
Inspiration: Thurop Van Orman; Medium: Photoshop using a tablet; Current feeling about piece: I want to be that little light bug.

  1. Nice work. I'm intrigued by how you feel at different times of production. I think I've run that gamut myself. I will be curious to see where you are when you take the style and make it your 'own'.
